Some of my work on Etsy...

These lil guys are some of the things I have listed on Etsy. I really like sculpting dragons! Nobody can come up to me and say "there was a dragon at the zoo and it didn't look anything like that"! I like the idea of friendly dragons, kinda like dogs, something you could keep as a pet! My in-laws own a small horse farm, so the little horse sculpture was a successful attempt to make my (new) Mom smile!

Hi Everyone!

Okay, I really don't have any idea what I'm supposed to be doing here. So please be patient with me ;-). I guess I am supposed to write about what I've been doing lately, here goes.....

I have had a store on Etsy for about 3 months and have made 10 sales, which I think is pretty good, but I seem to only make a sale when I refresh listing everyday. So I think I've spent more money listing then what I have actually made :-(. I found Art Fire through the etsy forums, and decided to open a shop there too. I made a sale in 8 days vs. the 2 months to make a sale on Etsy! So I am really excited! Will keep my blog updated as to which store seems to do better. Last night I (with lots of help from ColtPixy and MulberryandMain) started a guild on Art Fire.

We are called "Polymer Clay Smooshers" and so far we have 5 members, and 3 more soon to be members. Our Guild's description is "The Guild's objectives are to educate the public about polymer clay, and to study and promote an interest in the use of polymer clay as an artistic medium" and our mission "The purpose of the Guild shall be to foster the enjoyment of polymer clay and its possibilities. To educate the public and each other about polymer clay". We are all pretty new to the whole "guild" thing but we are already having lots of fun (and that's what matters most, right?)!
